I have a Real Arcade Universal stick by Pelican, and would like some help on repairing it.  Some of the buttons are sticking and the left is starting to wear.  Before anyone says anything, I have spilled nothing on this great $40 stick; also, I am a poor bitch and can't buy another Pelican or an X-Arcade model.  Extra brownie points if I can get the stick at 100% before Third Strike emu does!  Thank you MANY TIMES OVER!!!!!  $BILL

if you know how to deal with all the technical stuff involved in a stick why not just get replacement parts?  Ive seen some sets going for under $30 on ebay which include replacement sticks and buttons.

I would suggest buying new sticks and buttons from www.happcontrols.com.  I used to have that stick and I believe you will be able to just swap the parts.  The base of the stick is good.

Update: I was under a mistaken impression that the base did not have screws for quick opening, so I purchased a hacksaw, a slide lock, and some 1" hinges only to find the screws in the base.  Repairs should not be too traumatic, since I used to clean NES and Genesis pads all the time.  *and yes, I realize the dark foreboding that the statement induces.....  I'll start sometime Sunday the 24th.  Thank you all again!
