Dear Denjin-video users,

CPS3 has finally been successfully emulated (It's about god damn time).

So, for those of you who don't feel like playing the game on a home system, or want to try something out on a truly arcade perfect version of 3s, here's your chance.

You can get the latest version of the emulator here:

http://nebula.emulatronia.com/

I'll leave it up to you to find the correct rom.
All of the support forums from said site are in Spanish, so you're going to have to get it working for yourself.

If you have any technical questions, I guess you can ask them here, because I got it working.

Pelican PS2 to PS3 converter. Works for PS2 to PC really well. No noticeable lag.

Ok, I'll try it.  What's the worst that could happen?  (answer: PC blows up.  Second place: it doesn't work and Gamestop issues store credit or insists on a replacement.)

Hey, one more question - what exactly are the differences between the arcade edition of SF3S and the PS2 SFAC version?

I think it was discussed on the podcast.
The PS2 version has 3d rendered hit sprites, and is a little bit faster.

Is there another place to find out what the exact differences are, preferrably in print?

Latest Mame release(Emulator) - http://ddememame.hp.infoseek.co.jp/mameppk_bin_vc-0.119-20070916.7z
3s Roms(Download all 3...CHD, Main, and No-CD) - http://www.killwt.com/sf3/downloads.htm
Latest p2p kaillera client(Includes p2p and server listing) - http://kaillera.movsq.net/kailleraclient.dll

The second link also has a tutorial on how to get the p2p Kaillera client working for online play.
Go to www.mirc.com and download the IRC client...join us on efnet at #srkkaillera for p2p matchmaking.

Once you have the emulator downloaded and extracted. Open it once, then it should create a bunch of folders including the rom folder. Drop the 3 rom files into the rom directory of mame. Re-open mame and hit F5 to refresh/find the roms. If you are using a Joystick/Pad to play on the emulator, make sure you go to default option->controller and check Enable Joystick Input.

As far as a converter goes, I went to radio shack and picked up the $13 ps2->USB converter for my ps2 stick. It works great at such a cheap price.

If you have anymore questions, join us on the IRC chan or shoot me a pm/reply on here. Enjoy guys, I can't get enough of this.
